About
I started my yoga journey in Kerala, India whilst flying around the world as cabin crew for a major airline based in the Middle East. I loved the softness of yoga , compared to other sports, I have always been very active and competitive. Yoga, in all its forms drew me in to its magical realm and within one year I found myself at the beautiful White Lotus foundation training to be a teacher with the esteemed Ganga White in 1998
I have since trained in several different styles including hotyoga, restorative, children’s yoga, yin yoga, meditation, chair yoga, yoga nidra, dynamic mindfulness, MBCT (Mindfulness based Cognitive therapy) Nordic walking, Movingness, Somatic movement and I still consider myself a student. I am very passionate about making yoga accessible to everyone and am an Accessible Yoga Teacher and Ambassador in the UK. My guided meditations are now also available on the Insight Timer app.
I am based in South East London and teach at several studios, I am also an Honorary volunteer for the NHS and Macmillan Cancer , I teach a weekly chair yoga class at Guy’s cancer centre, Queen Mary’s hospital in Sidcup, teach yoga to stroke patients for NHS Bromley health and Age UK, teaching trauma recovery, meditation and yoga nidra. I am currently 10 years clear from breast cancer myself and found my yoga and meditation practice helped immensely. I also teach specialised workshops and can create a workshop for studios and individuals.
